Supporting Odiham Cottage Hospital
All of the services provided by Odiham Cottage Hospital are available to patients and clients cost free or at discounted rates and are subsidised by OCH Combined Trust (incorporating the League of Friends). You can help us continue this work, and where possible, expand the range of services on offer.
There are several ways you can help:
1. By sending a donation
Donations (cash or cheques, including CAF cheques – made payable to OCHCT) may be sent to the hospital – visit the Contact Us page for details.
Gifts from individuals may qualify for gift aid, whereby an additional 25% of the gift can be reclaimed from the Inland Revenue at no cost to the donor. To download a Gift Aid Declaration Form as a PDF file, please click here. You will not need to do this for online donations via Charity Checkout.
OCHCT has established an endowment fund to provide investment income that will support the long term running costs of the hospital. You may like you gift to be used for this purpose.
2. By starting a regular giving scheme
This is perhaps the most valuable form of help that any charity can receive as it provides a certainty of income that enables the charity to plan to meet its commitments. Regular giving schemes will attract gift aid from qualifying donors, thereby increasing the gift by 25%. To download a Banker’s Order and Gift Aid Declaration Form as a PDF file please click here. You will not need to do this for online donations via Charity Checkout.
Many companies operate “Payroll Giving Schemes”, which are particularly tax efficient. Contact you own employer for further details.
3. By remembering the hospital in your will
You may be considering amending your will by adding a codicil or writing a new will. After providing for loved ones, you may wish to consider charitable giving – you could help ensure that this hospital can continue to serve its community. Suggested wording is available from the Secretary or may be downloaded as a PDF file by clicking here.
Bequests are normally added to the endowment fund to help support the hospital’s long-term future.
